UFC 116 is this Saturday night live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and I just wanted to drop a quick note to let all of the Brock Lesnar fans out there that Startribune.com will be the place to be this weekend if you can't be in Las Vegas.

I sat down today to shoot a video with Myron Medcalf and Tom Horgen to discuss the big main event, a title unification bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin, which has been posted here for everyone to watch.

We are also launching a new Star Tribune MMA twitter feed, @StribMMA, and Saturday night you can follow along as Myron and Tom will be tweeting throughout the night about the event.

I'll also be live blogging during UFC 116 starting about 8 p.m. on Saturday night when the SPIKE TV prelim special stars, featuring Lesnar training partner and North Dakota native Chris "The Crowbar" Tuchscherer taking on Shane Carwin training partner and former Ultimate Fighter season 10 runner up Brendan Schaub. That airs for free on SPIKE sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. I'll being updating the site with news and notes throughout the show, so check back on the front page of startribune.com all night long on Saturday for that.

Finally, I'll got my analysis of the Carwin-Lesnar matchup up, which you can find right here , while Myron has a fantastic Lesnar piece that will go up on Saturday, and then check back Sunday for Myron's story on the Lesnar-Carwin outcome.

All of that and more this weekend on Startribune.com.
