Starting officially today, the Wild is helping to launch two new media endeavors – Stateofhockey.com and "State of Hockey presented by Total Hockey," a TV series developed in partnership with FOX Sports North. Both endeavors aim to capture the passion Minnesotans have for the sport and share it with fans throughout the state to celebrate and promote hockey year-round.

Stateofhockey.com is a Minnesota hockey-themed web site that includes:

-- Scores, rankings, standings and schedules for nearly every level of hockey throughout the state
-- Original and aggregated editorial content, covering youth, high school, college and professional
-- Several recurring features and user-generated elements to entertain and inform hockey fans of all ages
-- A simple, clean and easy-to-navigate design bringing the story of the State of Hockey to life through engaging storytelling and dynamic visuals
The TV Show:

-- Hosted by Audra Martin, the new TV show, "State of Hockey presented by Total Hockey," premieres on FOX Sports North on Thursday after "Wild Live" postgame at approximately 9 p.m. CT.

-- The first of the show's 10 episodes, which are scheduled to run twice per month from November through March, will include a roundtable of former National Hockey League stars now coaching high school teams in Minnesota, an update on Jack Jablonski and a feature on Hamline Women's Hockey Head Coach Natalie Darwitz. A weekly "Growing the Game" feature, sponsored by Minnesota Hockey, will highlight the role hockey plays in the lives of Minnesotans across the region.
