The bodies of two men have been recovered from a north-central Minnesota lake where a boat capsized, authorities said Monday.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office identified the men as William Daley, 43, of Minneapolis, and Clarence Dickens, 53, of Princeton, Minn.

According to the Sheriff's Office, authorities were notified shortly after 6:30 p.m. Saturday of a capsized boat on Lake Winnibigoshish, on the south end of the lake near Bena. Officers quickly found the boat and items floating nearby. A search for its occupants lasted until dark and amid winds ranging from 30 to 40 miles per hour.

The search resumed Sunday morning. Daley's body was found near shore shortly after 9:30 a.m., authorities said. Dickens' body was discovered about 5 p.m., roughly 200 yards from where the boat was found.
