UPDATE: Tonight's Twins game with the L.A. Angels at Target Field has been postponed due to rain. No makeup date has been announced.

The teams took batting practice, but the Angels cut theirs short just as the rain began to pick up. The tarp came onto the field around 6:35 p.m. The game was called shortly after.

Both teams have Thursday off. However, six inches of snow in the forecast for tomorrow afternoon. Stay tuned.

Oswaldo Arcia arrived this morning from Rochester, and he's right back in the Twins' lineup tonight, assuming the rain holds off long enough to get the game in at Target Field. Arcia will be in right field, giving Chris Parmelee, 1-for-11 in his last three games, a night off. Gardenhire said he wants to give Arcia as much playing time as possible during Darin Mastroianni's stint on the disabled list, but fitting four outfielders in three spots will require some juggling.

Also back in the Twins' outfield tonight: Josh Willingham, who came in early and told manager Ron Gardenhire he absolutely wanted to play after missing two games with the stomach flu.

"You're going to have to give some guys some breaks," Gardenhire said of his four-outfielder conundrum, which may require occasionally using one as designated hitter. "We're going to mix them around. We'll just kind of figure it out. It's never a bad problem to have enough good hitters, and [Arcia] is a good hitter."

Brian Dozier remains in the leadoff spot, after collecting two hits and a walk there Tuesday night.

Weather forecasts call for lots of rain tonight, but it's not clear when the precipitation will begin. The Twins hope it holds off until 10 o'clock or so, and fully intend to start on time at 7:10. We'll see if they're successful.
