WASHINGTON -- Tropical storm Andrea is headed up the East Coast, and the Twins get to watch it rain, for at least a day.

With rain falling steadily all morning and forecasts calling for no letup until late tonight, the Twins' first visit to Nationals Park was postponed shortly after noon ET, the Nationals announced.

The game will be made up on Sunday night at 6:05 p.m. CT, the Nationals said, creating a day-night doubleheader with the regularly scheduled 12:35 p.m. CT game.

Kevin Correia, Friday's scheduled starter, will be on the mound for the Twins on Saturday instead, facing Washington lefthander Gio Gonzalez. Scott Diamond and Samuel Deduno will pitch the doubleheader on Sunday.

It's the Twins' first visit since 1971 to Washington, D.C., the city where the franchise was founded in 1901.
