A Twin Cities motorist struck an SUV from behind, killing the driver on a North Dakota interstate, authorities said.
The collision occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Friday on westbound Interstate 94, roughly 16 miles east of Dickinson, according to the Highway Patrol.
Killed was Norman Erhardt, 81, of Dickinson, the patrol said. Coming away uninjured was 62-year-old David Draves, of Cottage Grove.
The crash sent the SUV rolling into the median, the patrol said.
Draves' car also entered the median and came to a stop there. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, according to the patrol.
