School days

Even fans of vintage TV may be stumped by the mention of "Mrs. G Goes to College," which hasn't aired in 50 years. but it's worth checking out if only to sample its star, Gertrude Berg, one of the first women to create, write and produce her own series. The sitcom joins the daytime lineup along with 1960 rom-com "Peter Loves Mary."
