Real troopers

Former Minnesotan and "Last Comic Standing" champ Josh Blue pays tribute to some real warriors in "Ron White's Vegas Salute to the Troops" (9 p.m. Friday, CMT). Headliner White talks about Lance Armstrong, child rearing and Christian dating sites, but wisely steers clear of mentioning his appearance in "Sex and the City 2."

Hallmark card

Steven Weber has more charisma than his lightweight résumé would suggest. His latest: "Tom, Dick & Harriet" (8 p.m. Saturday, Hallmark), in which he plays an ad exec who helps a young con artist find true love. I know a guy has to work, but at this pace, a subpar "Wings" reunion is probably in his future.

Kiss the chef

Not everyone in the restaurant business is as grumpy as Gordon Ramsay. The new series, "Playing With Fire" (9 p.m. Sunday, E!) follows five New York "foodies," including former "Top Chef" competitor Candice Kumai, whose family fortunes are as rich as their dishes.

Goodnight, ladies

"Girls" (8 p.m. Sunday, HBO) closes another provocative season with Hannah (Lena Dunham) struggling to finish her book in one day. I'm guessing that's the same amount of time it will take non-HBO subscribers to get through the entire season when it's finally released on DVD.
