Claire Danes, who plays a CIA analyst on "Homeland," seems to be an odd choice to host "The 20th Nobel Peace Prize Concert" (7 p.m., AXS TV), but the even odder decision is inviting mopey Morrissey, who once suggested that Margaret Thatcher be destroyed and that he wishes George W. Bush had died instead of Ronald Reagan. I guess Kanye West wasn't available.

"Rodeo Girls" (9 p.m., A&E) follows the adventures of a group of cowgirls eager to show they can ride with the big boys on the rodeo circuit. The promotional ads featuring a nearly topless beauty galloping along says all you need to know.

Underneath the tree

Kelly Clarkson is getting into the holiday spirit with her very first yule special, "Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Music Tale" (9 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). Robin Williams, William Shatner, Jay Leno and Reba McEntire are on the guest list.
