Baby, baby

Get ready to say "awwww!" about a dozen times while watching "Too Cute! Pint Sized," a series that documents the first eight weeks of animals' lives. First up: bulldog puppy Dexter, who is determined to show off his athletic skills, despite his stumpy little legs and roly-poly body. 7 p.m. Saturday, Animal Planet

Kool Katt

Spike Lee directs "Katt Williams: Priceless: Afterlife," the comedian's second stand-up special, in which he tackles homophobia, California weed dispensaries, racism, aggressive police tactics, mental institutions, drug commercials and why everyone should give Lee's "Bamboozled" another chance. 9 p.m. Saturday, HBO

Running on empty

"Wipeout," which features the world's most torturous obstacle course, sets its sights on former couples, including a pair called Hot Pants and the Heartbreaker. I usually don't encourage anyone to go through the rigors of this ridiculous game show, but for folks with nicknames like that, I'm willing to make an exception. 7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5

Dog days

"Shark Week" is over, leaving plenty of room for man's other best friend. "Bark Week" features films and specials dedicated to our tail-wagging pets, starting with "Cats & Dogs," an animated film featuring the voices of Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Elizabeth Perkins, Sean Hayes and, in one of his final credits, Charlton Heston. 7 p.m. Sunday, Hub Network
