Losing hope

It was nice while it lasted. "Raising Hope" says farewell after four ratings-challenged seasons. While it was never one of TV's best, the sitcom served as a great vehicle for Martha Plimpton. The one-hour finale includes a musical serenade from Kenny Loggins. 8 p.m. Friday, KMSP, Ch. 9

The British are coming!

We have our fair share of spy shows, but none quite like "Turn," a fast-paced history lesson about the informers who helped America turn around the Revolutionary War. Jamie Bell, best known for dancing his way into our hearts in "Billy Elliot," plays a highly reluctant hero. See Sunday's Variety section for a profile of his co-star, Twin Cities native Seth Numrich. 8 p.m. Sunday, AMC

Sharing their voice

Shakira and Blake Shelton abandon their revolving chairs on "The Voice," at least for one night, to duet on the "49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards." Other performers include Jason Aldean, George Strait and Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks. 7 p.m. Sunday, WCCO, Ch. 4

Tough day at work

Anyone who has seen "Office Space" knows that director Mike Judge can mine great laughs out of workplace politics. He's at it again with "Silicon Valley," a very smart new sitcom partly based on Judge's stint as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late '80s. You don't have to know a lot about technology to appreciate the crew of horrible bosses who make life nearly impossible for anyone trying to get anything done. 9 p.m. Sunday, HBO
