But she still has time for caped crusaders. The busy bee brings her super-charm to "Supergirl," guest-starring as Winn's guilt-ridden mother. As if that weren't enough: Minneapolis native Carl Lumbly warbles a karaoke version of "Suspicious Minds."

The six-part docuseries "It Was Him: The Many Murders of Ed Edwards" is as much about the confessions of a serial killer as it is about former detective John Cameron's insistence that the late criminal was responsible for everything from the Zodiac murders to the death of young JonBenét Ramsey. Edwards' grandson, Wayne Wolfe, tags along in this most chilling of cold cases.
