UPDATE: A British photographer named David Kittos tells the BBC that the photo used in Trump's tweet was taken by him and posted to his Flickr account in 2010.

Kittos added that he himself was a refugee. He fled Cyprus at age 6 in 1974.

"This was not done with my permission, I don't support his politics and I would never take his money to use it," Kittos told the BBC.
