Other than your current position, what's your dream job? A highly successful professional sports agent -- they get the best seats to all the big games.
How did you choose this line of work? I enjoy working with different technologies to help solve complex problems. My current position affords me the opportunity to use technology to help solve difficult problems and also uncover business and computer fraud.
What's one thing you'd rather do than go to work Monday morning? Wake up at my cabin and have coffee on the beach. My Blackberry doesn't work there.
What's something about yourself others are surprised to learn? I volunteer for a wish-granting organization called Wishes and More. We grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. I recently took a wish recipient on an elk-hunting trip in Colorado.
Most exciting part of the job: The investigative nature of using technology to determine if any fraud or wrongful acts have been committed is very interesting.
Career advice: Build your own "personal board of directors" to provide you with career guidance and advice.
Ideal retirement: Spring, summer and fall at the cabin in northern Minnesota. Winter in Punta Mita or Grand Cayman.
