With the NBA Draft swiftly approaching Thursday night, we took a spin through some of the most notable mock dock drafts out there to see if there is any sort of consensus when it comes to the Timberwolves and who they might land at No. 13. Because 13 seemed to be a nice number, that's how many mocks we tracked.

It's useful to remember that mock drafts are not much more than educated guesswork and that after Thursday the only thing they will be good for is kindling for a beautiful fire. But for now, let's have some fun!

(Note: We thought we would have to go to all the individual sites, but NBA.com has nicely gathered almost all of them up for us):

13 FOR THE WOLVES AT NO. 13:

Nik Stauskas, SG, Michigan: Sporting News, Sheridan Hoops, NBAdraft.net, Bleacher Report

Gary Harris, SG, Michigan State: ESPN.com, SI.com, NBA Draft Insider

Adreian Payne, PF, Michigan State: NBA.com, CBS Sports Net Scouts

Rodney Hood, SF, Duke: FOX Sports and USA Today.

Zach LaVine, SG, UCLA: Draft Express

That's five guys in the 13 mocks and certainly no clear consensus. The smart money appears to be on either Stauskas, Harris or Payne. Stauskas seems to be moving up quite a few boards, so it's less likely he will be available. Harris would fill a need as a shooter, while Payne could be a ready-made replacement for Kevin Love if he is traded.

Our hope is for Payne; our hope beyond that is for Stauskas if he falls. Harris would be fine. Anyone else feels like a reach, but again we're just part of the educated guess crowd.
