Coaching career: Coached Wisconsin Badgers for 14 seasons, winning 2006 national title; Previous stops as assistant coach include Shattuck-St. Mary's, St. Cloud State, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins and U.S. Junior National team.
Family: Wife, Beth, and sons, Patrick and Ben. Patrick is a 12-year NHL veteran who plays for the Dallas Stars. Ben, a former minor-league hockey player, serves as St. Olaf's strength and conditioning coordinator and hockey assistant coach.
