If you had to, would you be able to kill cute babies? That's the moral quandary in "The Last Bombardment," a middling stage adaptation of a Kenneth Schneyer short story. One morning in a community of 3,000, people awake to find well-fed swaddled babies on their porches. They take in the cherubs, only to discover that they are vectors of death. The interesting premise is not matched by the acting, which is uneven, or by Sean Dillon's sometimes laggard production. But the show's bloodless horror is creepy enough to keep your attention.
