Rustling up funds

David O. Russell is auctioning off a speaking part in his next, untitled film, about the Abscam scandal of the 1970s. The winner will have a chance to hobnob with stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Louis C.K. The money raised (the experience, now on the website charitybuzz.com, is valued at $50,000) will go to the Kenny Gordon Foundation, which provides college scholarships.
