Herb cooking and crafts

Herb garden novices and seasoned growers are invited to the "Moonlight Shopping for Herbs" event from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today at Shady Acres Herb Farm, 7815 Hwy. 212, Chaska. Experts will give tips on cultivating herbs in containers and cooking with everything from basil to thyme. Make a seasoning blend for cooking, lavender rose sachet or potpourri sachet from owner Theresa Mieseler's recipes. Cost for materials is $6 for one or $15 for all three.
