THE DEER HUNTER'S PACK, PACKED WELL

• License. String or plastic tie to attach site tag to harvested deer.

• Sharp knife with case, portable sharpener.

• Shoulder-length cleaning gloves and hand-sized latex gloves. Wet wipes.

• Compass or GPS.

• Portable binoculars.

• Butt-Out tool.

• Hand-sized bone saw.

• Map (as needed).

• Whistle (to signal a partner, or for help).

• Candy bars, lunch, something to drink.

• Cell phone, ringer turned off.

• Matches or lighter. Fire starter.
