A couple of links to end your day:

*While it is widely known that Brad Childress is in the feast-or-famine fourth year of a fifth year deal, and it has been widely bandied about that the undefeated coach might be on the cusp of getting a new deal, this CBS Sports report talks about an extension in more certain terms than we can recall seeing. From the report:

A contract extension is in the works for Minnesota coach Brad Childress, with a new deal possible within the next two to three weeks. ... There had been speculation that Childress' contract would not be addressed until after the season, but his agent, Bob LaMonte, was seen at Sunday's Vikings-Ravens game, and sources close to the club said he was there partly to see Childress and partly to negotiate a new deal.

*And CBS gets a second link with details on Steve McNair's "other-other-woman."

Have an excellent night. Clarence Swamptown checks in tomorrow with a quality guest post. Beyond that, we'll have to wait and see what the sports world has to offer. If we had to visualize one word that could be summed up as a wish: donuts.
