What if you had only five minutes to fill out an NCAA tourney bracket? Would it be a fairly normal exercise of a few upset picks mixed into your usual go-with-the-favorites routine? Or would it be an insane sprint and wildly embarrassing?

Let's find out!

We thought it would be fun to do our NCAA men's basketball tournament brackets a little bit differently this year. Instead of spending hours analyzing statistics and comparing matchups, we're going to run a fast-break.

Sound crazy? Here's the game, and you should play along:
The tournament selection show airs Sunday at 5 p.m. on CBS. As soon as the show ends, we will announce on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook that the contest has begun.
A handful of Star Tribune sports writers and editors will have FIVE MINUTES to fill out their brackets.
This is where you come in. You'll have ONE HOUR to download the tournament bracket and fill it out in your own five-minute window (no cheating!). When you're done, take a photo of it (the printed bracket, or the computer screen if you're using an interactive bracket) and share it with us on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #SpeedBracket, or post it as a comment on our Facebook page. Your bracket must be in focus and legible in your photo.
We'll compile all of the submissions in a blog post. On Monday, we'll analyze the entries to find the most likely, most unlikely or downright craziest brackets. Throughout the tournament, we'll check in on our #SpeedBracket entries to see how they're faring.
Whoever has the best #SpeedBracket at the end of the tournament will receive unlimited glory and bragging rights, and we'll crown the winner on our website and in the newspaper.
Download your official #SpeedBracket here. Check back Sunday evening and we'll make a new version with all of the tournament teams available before the contest begins.
