Here are two Twin Citians who define the current bike-driven fashion scene.

ZACHARIAH SCHAAP
Graphic designer, 27, Minneapolis

What are you wearing? Custom Marty Mathis shirt, THVM skinny jeans, wool Filson bag, leather shoes from Amsterdam, wool newsboy hat.

How many bikes do you own? Four. I match them to my outfits.

Commuter tips: If you're wearing nice clothes, choose a bike with fenders and a chain guard so you don't damage your clothing.

Favorite stores: Martin Patrick 3, Arrow, my mom's sewing room.

Where do you get your style inspiration? I went to Holland when I was 21, and it was life-changing to see how Europeans dress while biking.

KATRINA WOLLET
Content specialist, 24, Minneapolis

What are you wearing? North Face hat, Target sunglasses, Gap leggings, tank top, Frye boots and a Free People sweater.

Ideal biking outfit: Cowboy boots, leggings, short skirt, a long braid and light jacket.

Commuting tips: Wear a helmet; there's no reason not to. That said, I'm not going to lie, a helmet can totally mess up my hair and makeup. My quick fix is a pair of sunglasses and a hat. Both are easy to pack, help hide imperfections and instantly jazz up your look.
