WEEKEND WATCH GUIDE

Premier League: Chelsea at Arsenal, 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Ch. 11. A home loss to Liverpool has some Chelsea fans questioning whether the Blues have what it takes to compete for the title, in new manager Antonio Conte's first year. Meanwhile, Arsenal fans have been wondering the same about their club — for more than a dozen years.

Liga MX: Pumas at America, 9 p.m. Saturday, Univision. The home side is in crisis, having fired manager Nacho Ambriz after almost an entire year of dithering about when to do so. Cross-Mexico City rival Pumas would dearly love to pile on an extra problem by potentially knocking America out of the fall-tournament playoff spots.

Premier League: Southampton at West Ham, 10 a.m. Sunday, NBCSN. A season ago, these clubs finished sixth and seventh. Now, Southampton has just one win, and West Ham has been such a disaster that its fans got into fights with each other in the stands last week. The Hammers are in desperate need of something, anything, to go right.

MLS: Seattle at Los Angeles, 3 p.m. Sunday, ESPN. This has been a regular matchup in the playoffs, but at the moment Seattle is in seventh place, out of the playoffs. The Sounders have matches in hand on the competition, but that won't matter if they don't win them — and a trip to Los Angeles, even with the Galaxy's injury woes, won't be easy.
