How did you get started in the sports you now compete in? My older brother was a good competitor, and I wanted to be just like him so I started running.

How do you balance school and athletics? Just finish my homework after my sports in the evening.

What did you work on in the offseason? Running up to 70 miles a week.

What is your favorite meal before a meet? Ham and turkey sandwiches.

To get focused for competition, I ... think about the race positively, and relax.
