School board hopefuls have a forum Monday The League of Women Voters of Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights will hold a forum Monday night for candidates seeking seats on the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale school board.

Five candidates are vying for four seats. They include three incumbents: Theresa Auge of Oakdale, and Steve Hunt and Nancy Livingston, both of North St. Paul. Also running are Rich Bennett and Becky Neve, both of Maplewood.

The forum is set for 7 p.m. in the board room at the District Education Center, 2520 E. 12th Av., North St. Paul.

WOODBURY

County Board OKs boundary alteration The Washington County Board last week gave final approval to a small tweak in the border between the South Washington County and Stillwater Area school districts to accommodate property lines in a new Woodbury housing development.

The change, essentially involving a swap of several plots, had been approved earlier by the two school boards.

The newly platted subdivision, called Dancing Waters 11th Addition, is in the northeast corner of Woodbury. It is being developed by Pulte Homes, which requested the change.

About half of the Dancing Waters subdivision lies in each of the two districts, so the tweak was needed as individual lots are laid out. The change avoids the problem of individual properties on both sides of the border.
