St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman on Friday night will kick off the city's first River Balcony Prototyping Festival at Kellogg Mall Park, which aims to get residents and visitors to imagine what a a Saint Paul River Balcony could look and feel like.

The Riverfront Corporation's River Balcony Prototyping festival is a first-of-its-kind public gathering along the city's downtown river bluff, complete with live music, craft beer and 11 local art installations on display along Kellogg Friday and Saturday.

Kellogg Park will also be the site of the Kellogg Craft Beer Overlook – a month-long pop-up beer garden along the river downtown. The park is located at 62 E. Kellogg Boulevard in St. Paul.

About the Kellogg Craft Beer Overlook

Created in partnership with the City of St. Paul and Brian Horst of Details Salon Boutique, Music in Mears and Rhythm in Rice, the Kellogg Craft Beer Overlook will run on Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the month of September. It will feature St. Paul craft beers, cider and wines, food trucks, and live music and entertainment.
