The city of Robbinsdale is surveying residents on how to revamp the city's downtown plaza.

The city hired Max Musicant of the Musicant Group to put together a plan to update the plaza and make it more of a gathering space for the community.

The plaza, located off W. Broadway Avenue and 41½ Avenue N., features some benches, a clock and a wall mural that the city says is aging. Residents can take a short survey to offer their suggestions for the revamped plaza by going online to: https://www. surveymonkey.com/s/ RobbinsdalePlaza.

Musicant will be meeting with businesses and residents, the city said, to gather more input as well. Nearby businesses have also pledged to contribute some money to help fix the plaza clock and add some new seating in the plaza.
