Rihanna, who Thursday night captured the top honor at the MTV Video Music Awards, is bringing her latest concert tour to the Twin Cities, promoters announced Friday.

The pop star will play Xcel Energy Center on March 24, with tickets going on sale Sept. 21 at the Xcel box office and the usual Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are priced from $39.50 to $125.

The six-time Grammy winner has sold more than 37 million albums and 146 million digital tracks. She currently holds the record for top-selling digital artist of all time.

At the MTV awards in Los Angeles, Rihanna won video of the year for her steamy hit "We Found Love."

In her Twin Cities concert debut, in June 2011 at Target Center, she put on a sexually charged presentation that included stripper poles, a lap dance for a female fan, simulated SM and a butch presentation of Prince's "Darling Nikki."
