Veteran offensive lineman Chester Pitts, who is recovering from microfracture surgery on his right knee, will workout for teams on Tuesday in Arizona, according to a tweet from Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network.

Pitts, 31, told Sirius NFL Radio earlier this offseason that five teams, including the Vikings, had expressed interest in him and at that time he indicated he planned to workout for the teams on July 15. That date was moved back a few days.

It isn't clear if the Vikings remain in the mix for Pitts, who has drawn interest from Detroit, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle. Pitts would be a potential fit with the Vikings as a backup guard and could get an opportunity to challenge right guard Anthony Herrera for a starting spot.
