The Vikings evidently want to get a closer look at one draft-eligible cornerback.
Virginia's Chris Cook is going to conduct a private workout for the Vikings on Tuesday, according to the National Football Post. The website reports that Cook also has had private workouts with New England and Miami.
Cook was sick before his recent Pro Day but impressed at the Senior Bowl. Here is a scouting report on Cook from the National Football Post. It sounds like the 6-2, 212-pound corner could be a good fit for the Vikings' Cover-2 defense.
