Yahoo.com, citing a league source, has reported that Wolves guard/forward Chase Budinger had surgery Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and will "miss minimally three months."Budinger sustained the injury Saturday in Chicago, with six minutes left in the fourth quarter, when he got tangled in a scrum under the Wolves' net and twisted the knee.
The Yahoo.com report said that renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, and said the meniscus was completely repaired and that a full recovery is expected. Budinger is one of several injuries that have hit the Wolves, the latest being center Nikola Pekovic's sprained ankle Monday in Dallas.
