Rep. Michele Bachmann's entire New Hampshire campaign staff reportedly quit on Friday, citing Bachmann's lack of commitment to the Granite State.

Bachmann's campaign is pushing back against the story, which was first reported by New Hampshire's WMUR. Bachmann spokeswoman Alice Stewart told the Star Tribune that the story is "not true," though she declined to elaborate. She said the campaign is going to be putting out a statement shortly to address the issue.

WMUR reported that five New Hampshire staffers left the Bachmann campaign on Friday.

At least one, Caroline Gilger, is going to work for Texas Gov. Rick Perry's New Hampshire field team, Perry's campaign confirmed to the Star Tribune.

Jeff Chidester, a New Hampshire radio host who was running Bachmann's Granite State operation, told the Union Leader that he and at least three other staffers had in fact quit as a result of frustration with the national campaign.

The Bachmann campaign has emphasized that it's focused on Iowa, and Bachmann has only visited New Hampshire twice since she kicked off her campaign in June. During her stop earlier this month, Bachmann claimed that she had been kept from New Hampshire because of the debt limit-debate, but in that same time she visited Iowa repeatedly.
