A telling quote from Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer on Monday about Teddy Bridgewater: "I never thought that I'd have another quarterback throughout my career other than him."

Indeed, regardless of what you thought of Bridgewater's ceiling as a QB, it seemed at least like the Vikings had found a long-term solution at the position. Depending on his recovery, they still might. But in the short term, they're back to an all-too-familiar script of changes at quarterback.

There's a decent chance both Sam Bradford and Shaun Hill will start games this year. If they do, they will be the 12th and 13th different QBs to start a game for the Vikings since Adrian Peterson was drafted in 2007.

The other 11: Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcomb, Brooks Bollinger, Gus Frerotte, Brett Favre, Joe Webb, Donovan McNabb, Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel, Josh Freeman and Bridgewater.
