Although he also wrestles and runs track, McGeehan's first love is football. He talked about his present and a possible future in the sport.

What do you love about football? The fact that it's team-oriented. And I like that it's a contact sport. I like to hit people.

What about other sports? I do them to get ready for football. I wrestle to stay in shape, and I do track to work on my speed.

Do you play both ways? Yes, sir. I'm a running back and a strong safety. It gets exhausting, but I'll step up and contribute anything the coaches ask me to do.

How often do you come off the field? Not much. Whenever my coach says I need a break. But as soon as I come off, I want to go back in. I tell them, "When you're ready, I'm ready."

Your team beat Hill-Murray to start the season. You scored two touchdowns. Was that a surprise? Not really. We went in thinking we could win. We had some injuries last year and played a lot of juniors. We have a lot of confidence. We can be pretty good this year.

How big are you? I'm 5-10, 192 pounds.

Have you heard from colleges? I've been talking to a few colleges. I'm going to take an official visit to Southwest Minnesota State. I took an unofficial visit to NDSU before that.

Game-winning touchdown or game-saving tackle? Oh, game-saving tackle, for sure. I'm a defensive guy.
