FORT MYERS, FLA. -- After today's 10-4 loss to the Cardinals, Twins manager Ron Gardenhire delivered some good news on the injury front.

Michael Cuddyer, who had a wart removed from his left foot last week, is almost healed, Gardenhire said.

And Delmon Young, who has been out with a turf toe injury, might be ready to play in Tuesday's B-game against the Pirates, Gardenhire said.

Joe Mauer took part in some fielding drills today at catcher. Mauer has yet to catch in the bullpen, but Gardenhire said, "Right now, he's progressing nicely. That's what they tell me."

Justin Morneau continues to go through full workouts but hasn't played in a game. Gardenhire said there is no timetable for when Mauer or Morneau will play again.
