Josh Harding, of course.

What an interesting game. Just about everybody in the Wild locker room though it was one of the team's best all season. They're probably right, despite the fact the Wild was outshot 26-11 over the final two periods and that it took a headstanding performance from Harding to hold onto the 1-0 win.

Some thoughts:

1. You have to feel good for Harding, who has played very well in two starts against Detroit since coming back from a knee injury that wiped out last season for him. Harding usually doesn't bare his emotions much, but even he admitted that games like this -- nights like this -- make all that rehab work worthwhile.

2. I was super impressed with young defensemen Jared Spurgeon, Marco Scandella, Justin Falk and Nate Prosser. These guys played mega minutes and were in for every situation. And they played with poise. After the game Mike Yeo couldn't say enough about his young guys. I'll write more about this tomorrow.

3. As for that new shoot-first mentality Yeo has been preaching? Still a work in progress. Dany Heatley showed how effective that can be with his goal on a 2-on-1 with Guillaume Latendresse in the first period.Other than that, the Wild either tried to pass too much or waited too long to shoot. That was especially true on the power play.

4. Can you believe this Detroit team has lost four straight. Even worse, that the Wings haven't gotten one point in any of those four games?

Odds and ends:

--Mikko Koivu has registered a point in back to back games for the first time this season.

--Heatley has points in four straight games (2-2--4)

--It was the Wild's first regulation win over the Red Wings in eight games dating back to a 5-2 win Jan. 27, 2010.

That's about it for now. I have two hungry dogs at home that need to get outside. Have a good one and I'll get back to you after practice Monday.
