Nate Condon finally got it off his chest. The Gophers senior co-captain nestled in his first goal of the season on Friday night in a 6-3 victory over Bemidji State.

The goal snuck just inside the post to put the Gophers up 5-3 at the time. His reaction was positive, but he wants more from himself and his line.

"It feels great, the first goal is always great to get off your chest," Condon said. "So hopefully my line can get going here and pop a few in every night."

The Gophers second line of Condon, Justin Kloos and Taylor Cammarata had only produced one goal entering the third game of the season. The group was much more offensive-minded on Friday, though. Cammarata and Kloos each had two assists to go along with Condon's goal.

"That's what we need from him," Lucia said about his co-captain. "We need him contributing offensively. … That's a timely goal."

Bemidji State coach Tom Serratore said his team couldn't get anything going 5-on-5. The Gophers speed and ability to maintain puck possession kept the Beavers off balance late in the game.
