A 20-year-old Hinckley man was killed after being hit by a pickup truck while he was walking near a Pine County intersection, authorities said.
Dylan Benjamin was walking on Hwy. 48, just west of the intersection with County Road 20, when he was struck by a 2000 Ford Super Duty pickup heading westbound about 7:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the State Patrol.
The driver, George Harth, 54, of Hinckley, was not injured.
Benjamin died at the scene.
