Ken's Tackle is happy to report that the lakes in the Otter Tail, Battle Lake area are making ice by the moment. We are finding ice to be between 4 and 10 inches. You do have to be careful where you go - but we are seeing more and more perminate fish houses on the lake everyday.
Cracks are around and are opening in parts of the lake. Accesses are open. But please use caution. Walk out first and check where you are going. This time of the year, things can change quickly.
Reports --- walleyes are in 15 to 20 feet of water. So fishermen are excited!
Give us a call to get the latest update on the lake of your choice. Call Ken's Tackle at 218-495-2895.
Be safe - Gary Peterson
