Collier, Wallace H. 92 of Minneapolis passed away July 24, 2015. Wally served in the army for 26 years. During his military career he served in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Wally was an avid boxer and he defeated Rocky Marciano before Rocky became a world champion. Upon retiring from the military, Wally was the Dean of Students at North High School. Wally is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Luella; sons Walter and Mathew (Lah); grandchildren; great grandchildren; many relatives and friends. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, July 31 at 10:30 AM, Church of the Ascension, 1723 Bryant Ave. North, Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior.
