Sipe, Mary Elizabeth Age 61, of Edina, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 21, 2017. Survived by her loving mother and best friend Ginny Sipe. Devoted sons Michael Behm and Alex Sipe; grandchildren James Behm and Mahalia Adams; brothers James (Dawne Starkey), Paul (Paola Bernardi), Rob (Nina Syverson), Michael (Jane Skogstrom); numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her father Dr. James W. Sipe. A special thanks to the staff at Methodist Hospital, 5 East, for the kind and special care shown to Mary. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Mary, Hennepin Ave. at 17th St., Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to services at church.
