Jorgenson, Jerry L. age 75, of Elk River, MN passed away after a brief illness on July 8, 2017, three years to the day after the death of his beloved wife Joyce. Jerry was born November 16, 1941 in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1960 and entered the Army, where he was stationed in Korea and served as a Military Police Officer in Fort Carson, CO. He returned from service and began his career at Onan Corporation in Fridley, MN, where he worked until his retirement. Jerry married his best friend Joyce Conrad in 1968. He enjoyed time at their cabin on Holt Lake, John Deere B tractors, his red Corvette, riding his Harley Davidson and his weekly 'farmer's breakfast' in Elk River. Jerry leaves behind three daughters, Cathy Mahone (Jay), Julie Coskey (Tom) and Jacki Kritzeck (Steve). He also leaves seven wonderful grandchildren, Merrick and Jesse Mahone, Patrick, Bryan and Andrew Coskey, and Polly and Louise Kritzeck. They were by far his proudest accomplishment and his greatest joy. Jerry is also survived by countless people he met and befriended along the way. Memorial service 11 AM Friday, July 14 at Dare's Funeral Service, 805 Main St, Elk River, MN 55330, with visitation an hour prior. Memorials preferred.
