McKeown, Marlene Born June 21, 1933, died of ALS on April 16, 2017. She joins the love of her life, Jim McKeown in heaven. Also preceded in death by her parents and sister Audrey. Survived by her children Michele (John), Colleen (Mike) and Jae (Robin); grandchildren Alex, Jacki, Katarina, Annika, Liam, Connell and Maggie; her sister Patsy (Pat); sister-in-law Roseanne; brother-in-law, Todd (Mary); many nieces and nephews. A gourmet cook and ASID interior designer, Marlene made the world around her more beautiful. As a former teacher, her passion for education continued in her service to Mahtomedi schools as a school board member and supporter of the arts in education. Causes were also central to her life, so in lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Tubman Family Alliance, the U of M Raptor Center or the ALS Association. Visitation Friday, 4/21 11:00 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 P.M. at ST.
