Nelson, Shirley Ann (Pelkey) Age 79, of Excelsior passed away on Mar. 18. She is preceded in death by husband, Ralph "Bucky" Nelson, parents Clarence and Edna Pelkey, sister Arlene Dickson; brother Durward Pelkey; and sister-in-law Kathy Pelkey. Survived by children, Scott (Paula) Nelson, Terri (Jim) Buker; grandchildren Dani and Taylor Buker; siblings, Gary, Dennis (Gail), Dean and Brad Pelkey, Phyllis Leach, Priscilla Harrington and Carol Pelkey; many nieces and nephews. She was a generous, caring person who dearly loved her family. She will be deeply missed. Memorial service will be held on Thurs., Mar. 23, 2017 at 6:30 pm with visitation beginning at 5 pm. All at Huber Funeral Home Chapel, 520 Second St., Excelsior. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to COPD Foundation.
