Jeanne was born 3/22/1921 in Mpls to John Emmet Mulligan (J.E.) and Agnes Ruth (Lamberton) Mulligan. She graduated from Washburn High School and Carleton College in Northfield, where her parents also met. She married William Richard Heilig, MD, a graduate of Washburn High School and the University of MN Medical School who returned from the 82nd Airborne after WWII and became a well respected Pediatric Neurologist in St. Paul. She lived in Edina since 1958 and was actively engaged in the lives of her children. She also enjoyed the company of numerous dogs and cats over the years. Our most heartfelt thanks to her many fine doctors, the staff at HCMC and the wonderful staff of the St. Therese Home of New Hope who made all of us a part of their family.
