Wright, Herbert E., Jr. age 98, died Nov. 12 at home in St. Anthony Park. He was preceded by his wife Rhea, sons Peter and Rex. He is survived by sons Dick (Vibeke), John (Christa), Andy, Jeffrey (Maria), daughter-in-law Sylvie, grandchildren Patrick, Christopher, Thierry, and Theora, andgreat grandson Adrian. Herb was lovingly cared for by Vania Stefanova. Thank you Sholom Hospice caregivers. Herb was a Regents' Professor of Geology, Ecology, and Botany and founder of the Limnological Research Center at the Univ. of Minnesota. He will be remembered by many students and colleagues as a mentor and intrepid leader of field trips. Memorial ceremony will be held at the Cargill Building, 1500 Gortner Ave. on the St. Paul Campus, Dec. 5 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers: gift payable to U of Minn. Foundation; Sharon Kessler, Dept.
