L'Wren Scott, a fashion designer and celebrity stylist who was Mick Jagger's girlfriend, was found dead in Manhattan of a possible suicide, a law enforcement official said Monday.

The official said Scott's assistant found her hanging from a doorknob at 10 a.m. Monday. The official said no note was found. A spokeswoman for Jagger says the singer was "completely shocked and devastated by the news." The pair had been dating since 2001.

Scott, who was adopted by Mormon parents and raised in Roy, Utah, had her own fashion label popular with celebrities. She was a fixture on Jagger's arm and, at around 6-foot-3, towered over her famous boyfriend.

She founded her high-end label in 2006 and recently created a more affordable line of clothes with Banana Republic. On the red carpet, she has dressed stars like Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Jessica Parker and Angelina Jolie.

Guthrie's marriage-and-baby twofer

"Today" anchor Savannah Guthrie, 42, has gotten married, and she used the occasion to announce she's expecting her first child. Guthrie and Mike Feldman, a 45-year-old communications strategist, tied the knot Saturday near her hometown of Tucson, Ariz. It was there she told her guests she's four months pregnant. Guthrie's on-air "Today" colleagues were among those on hand for the wedding ceremony. The marriage-and-baby twofer was revealed to the rest of the world on Monday's edition of "Today," with Guthrie back in New York at the NBC morning show. Beside her at the anchor desk, Matt Lauer reported she was "a beautiful bride."

Rock 'n' roll: Kiss can't find the harmony to reunite with its former members for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but it did find perhaps the perfect partner for a summer tour: Def Leppard. The tongue-wagging "Lick It Up" legends will perform with the "Love Bites" hitmakers for a 40-city trek coming Aug. 17 to Target Center. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday for $49-$151 through the arena box office, AXS.com or 888-9-AXS-TIX. Both bands were last seen locally at the State Fair grandstand in 2012 and 2011, respectively. The concert news followed new comments by Kiss singer Paul Stanley slamming Rock Hall organizers for excluding the band's two replacement members in the April induction along with long-gone original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. That's after Stanley and Gene Simmons said they are unwilling to perform with Frehley and Criss, but plan to appear with them at the ceremony. Stay tuned.
