Noise complaint. Officers responded to a church, 6546 University Av. NE., regarding a loud service. An assistant pastor said he would keep the volume at a reasonable level.

OCT. 18

Suspicious vehicle. A resident in the 500 block of 57th Avenue NE. reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her home. An officer found that the vehicle belonged to her neighbor.

Public intoxication. Officers responded to Unity Hospital, near the 7500 block of Lyric Lane NE., regarding an intoxicated 41-year-old woman crawling to her car. She was taken to detox.

OCT. 14

Neighbor dispute. A resident in the 5000 block of 134th Street reported a neighbor throwing leaves on the tree line of their property. The neighbor told a deputy he thought it was city property. He was advised that it wasn't and that he couldn't dispose of leaves there even if it was.

LEXINGTON

OCT. 11

Theft. Officers responded to Blue Collar BBQ, 4115 Woodland Road, regarding a theft. Someone stole $300 worth of split hickory wood from outside the building.

MAHTOMEDI

OCT. 11

Suspicious incident. Two juveniles were reported cutting branches from a pine tree in the 400 block of Emerald Lane. A deputy contacted the juveniles, who explained they wanted the limbs for a duck blind.

MAPLEWOOD

OCT. 12

Criminal damage to property. A vehicle was keyed in the 2000 block of White Bear Avenue while the car's owner was in court. The complainant suspected someone involved with his case.

MAY TOWNSHIP

OCT. 12

Found items. Four used tires, with the rims still on, were found in a pond in the 15000 block of Norell Avenue.

OCT. 19

Drugs. A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony fifth-degree controlled substance possession, no insurance, driving after revocation and two misdemeanor warrants following a traffic stop at County Road I and Interstate 35W. A 25-year-old woman in the vehicle also was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.

NEW BRIGHTON

OCT. 11

Assault. A man was arrested on suspicion of fifth-degree assault in the 2700 block of 5th Street by officers responding to a disturbance at a soccer game.

WOODBURY

OCT. 12

Malicious mischief. A man driving a van in the area of Lake View Alcove and Hudson Road reported something was thrown at his vehicle, shattering the rear driver's side window. The complainant did not find any foreign objects inside the vehicle and did not see anyone or anything to explain why his window shattered.

OCT. 14

Suspicious activity. An officer noticed someone in a parked vehicle in the 7800 block of Rimbley Road duck down as he drove by. He checked on the vehicle, which was filled with smoke and smelled strongly of marijuana. A female occupant was given a warning for possession of marijuana after he found a small amount of a leafy green substance and a grinder with residue in it.
