Theft. A 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen from the 13700 block of Round Lake Boulevard NW. The key was left inside the vehicle.

Theft. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1600 block of 141st Lane NW.

Burglary. A blank check was reported missing from a home in the 1400 block of California Avenue that was reportedly burglarized.

AUG. 25

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a home on the 6500 block of Channel Road NE regarding a suspicious noise. Officers determined an animal made the noises and no crime had occurred.

AUG. 27

Disturbance. Officers responded to the 5900 block of 6th Street NE. regarding an argument between two intoxicated individuals. Officers advised both parties to go to sleep.

Assist family. Officers responded to the 5400 block of 7th Street NE regarding an argument between brothers about religion. No assault occurred so they were advised to go their separate ways.

AUG. 28

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a home on the 6700 block of Channel Road NE regarding a man trying to gain access to their home. Officers located the man and he was intoxicated and lost. Officers helped him get home.

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 800 block of Wildwood Road reported that a computer had been hacked. The caller received an e-mail saying the computer needed repair and responded, granting an unknown person remote access, along with bank account information.

Burglary. A riding lawn mower was stolen in the 1900 block of Marion Street.

Theft. A package of bird food was stolen from the 7700 block of Woodlawn Drive.

Theft. A boat and trailer were stolen on the 2300 block of County Road I.

Arson. Someone set fire to a library box in the 100 block of New Brighton Road.

AUG. 24

Animal concern. A blue quaker parrot was reported missing in the 1700 block of Hastings Avenue.

ST. ANTHONY

AUG. 24

Theft. Two wallets, a cellphone, earbuds and cash were stolen from a woman's purse while at Nativity Church, 3312 Silver Lake Road. The suspect, a 36-year-old man, was arrested. All property was recovered except the cash.

AUG. 25

Theft. A photograph of the mayor was stolen from St. Anthony City Hall.

WOODBURY

AUG. 21

Public assist. Police responded to a report of a driver trapped in the area of Savannah Oaks Lane and Lake Road due to road closings because of a road race. The driver found her way out by the time police contacted her.

AUG. 25

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 9100 block of Juneau Drive reported opening his front door to get a package and finding a male holding the package. The male, who was not a delivery person, dropped the package and fled. Police were unable to locate the male.
